PATIL STADIUM READY TO HOST INAUGURAL EDITION OF INTERNATIONAL MASTERS LEAGUE
Mumbai,
February 20, 2025: Navi Mumbai’s renowned DY Patil Stadium is set to host
cricketing legends as it gears up for the much-anticipated inaugural edition of
the International Masters League (IML). With its world-class facilities and a
history of hosting premier international sporting events, the stadium promises
fans an electrifying experience as legendary players return to the field.
Tickets
for the IML are available on BookMyShow, the official ticketing partner for the
event.
The
opening match will see Sachin Tendulkar-led India Masters facing off against
Kumar Sangakkara’s Sri Lanka Masters in what is expected to be a thrilling
encounter. Complimentary tickets for the opening match will be available for
students and senior citizens. Students must present a valid ID card from their
educational institution, while senior citizens are required to show a
government-issued senior citizen card. These complimentary tickets can be
collected from the DY Patil Stadium box office starting February 20, upon
presenting valid identification.
The
DY Patil Stadium, known for its top-notch infrastructure, features a seating
capacity of 55,000 and a pitch designed to support high-quality cricketing
action.

The
International Masters League is set to commence on February 22, 2025, in Navi
Mumbai, featuring an impressive lineup of cricketing greats. The star-studded
roster includes India’s legendary Sachin Tendulkar, West Indies' Brian Lara and
Chris Gayle, Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara, South Africa’s Jacques Kallis and
Jonty Rhodes, England’s World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan, and Australia’s
Shane Watson, among other iconic players.
Catch
all the IML action live starting February 22 on JioHotstar. The matches will
also be broadcast live on Colors Cineplex (SD & HD) and Colors Cineplex
Superhits from 7:30 PM onwards.
Following
five thrilling matches in Navi Mumbai, the IML will shift to Vadodara before
moving to Raipur, which will host both the semi-finals and the final.
