Mumbai : In a high-energy encounter at the RCF Ground in Mumbai, the Greater Mumbai Police ‘B’ team delivered a commanding performance to defeat Cipla by 6 wickets, showcasing a perfect blend of sharp bowling and controlled batting. The match witnessed intensity and precision, as the Police side stamped their authority early and carried the momentum till the end.

 

GUPTA–DHAKANE SPELL SPELLS DISASTER FOR CIPLA

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Cipla faced a major setback as their decision backfired against a disciplined bowling attack. Kushagra Gupta (3/11) and Shubham Dhakane (3/20) produced a lethal spell, dismantling the batting line-up and restricting them to just 109 runs in 16 overs. Despite a fighting effort from Visharad Pagare (26 runs), the rest of the batters failed to build partnerships and collapsed under pressure.
