Ground in Mumbai, the Greater Mumbai Police ‘B’ team delivered a
commanding performance to defeat Cipla by 6 wickets, showcasing a
perfect blend of sharp bowling and controlled batting. The match witnessed
intensity and precision, as the Police side stamped their authority early and
carried the momentum till the end.

SPELL SPELLS DISASTER FOR CIPLA
After
winning the toss and opting to bat first, Cipla faced a major setback as
their decision backfired against a disciplined bowling attack. Kushagra
Gupta (3/11) and Shubham Dhakane (3/20) produced a lethal spell,
dismantling the batting line-up and restricting them to just 109 runs in 16
overs. Despite a fighting effort from Visharad Pagare (26 runs), the
rest of the batters failed to build partnerships and collapsed under pressure.

LAD’S HALF-CENTURY SEALS THE DEAL
Chasing
a modest target, Greater Mumbai Police ‘B’ displayed composure and
confidence. The standout performer was Pradnyesh Lad (50 runs off 37 balls,
5 fours, 2 sixes), who anchored the innings brilliantly and guided his team
to victory. The team comfortably achieved the target with 110/4 in 16 overs,
while Rakesh Prabhu (2/12) tried to put up resistance with the ball.

CONTINUES WINNING RUN; ALL-ROUND PERFORMANCE SHINES
In another match, DMCC registered an impressive 6-wicket victory
over Mafatlal, continuing the trend of dominant performances in the
tournament. Batting first, Mafatlal were bowled out for 96 runs in 15
overs, with Krinal Nar (33 runs) being the top scorer. Haramb
Parab (4/23) played a crucial role with the ball, dismantling the
opposition batting line-up.
PAWAN
SHAH’S BLITZKRIEG KNOCK LIGHTS UP THE GAME
During
the chase, Pawan Shah (69 runs off 38 balls, 8 fours, 4 sixes) produced
a sensational innings, taking the game away from the opposition with aggressive
stroke play. His knock ensured that DMCC chased down the target
comfortably at 99/4 in 13.2 overs. Despite a spirited bowling effort
from Ajay Mishra (4/3), the total proved insufficient.
