Thane Red in the first round of the MCC Little Star Boys’ U-12 Day League
Cricket Tournament 2026, as his match-winning knock earned him the
well-deserved Player of the Match honour.

Opting to bat first, MCC Santacruz rode on Kabir Kirtikar’s
marathon innings to pile up a formidable 254 for 9 declared in 52 overs,
with Sourish Wagh contributing a steady 20 runs, while bowlers Abhayam
Agnihotri (3 for 26) and Vivaan Gurjar (2 for 29) tried to contain
the damage for Thane Red.
