: In a commanding and one-sided encounter, ICICI Bank registered a
thumping 10-wicket victory over J.P. Morgan SC in the Plate
Group-B match of the 64th Sir Benegal Rama Rau Bank Shield Cricket
Tournament 2026, organised by the Reserve Bank of India under the
aegis of the Mumbai Cricket Association at the Karnatak SA Ground. The
match was highlighted by a flawless run chase, led brilliantly by Rohan
Kalbor, whose unbeaten knock ensured a comprehensive win.

a target of 134 runs, ICICI Bank completed the task with ease,
scoring 136 for no loss in 16.4 overs. The star of the innings was Rohan
Kalbor, who smashed an unbeaten 84 runs off 56 balls, including 14
boundaries and 1 six, displaying excellent control and strokeplay. He was
well supported by Nikhil Khare, who remained unbeaten on 50 runs off
44 balls, hitting 8 fours. Their solid opening partnership ensured
there were no hiccups in the chase.

Earlier,
J.P. Morgan SC, batting first, managed 133 for 9 in 20 overs. The
main contributor was Sahil Varma, who scored a fighting 60 runs off
48 balls with 11 fours and 1 six, while Shiva Sahukar added a
useful 30 runs. However, the rest of the batting line-up struggled
against disciplined bowling from ICICI. Samar Raj led the attack with 3
wickets for 23 runs, while Sahil Madgaokar chipped in with 2
wickets for 26 runs, effectively restricting the opposition.

Bank Clinch 18-Run Victory
In
another match, IndusInd Bank defeated RBL Bank by 18 runs
after posting 156 for 6 in 20 overs. Saket Adhikari top-scored
with a solid 63 runs off 50 balls (8 fours), supported by Jitendra
Yadav (27 runs) and Sachin Tambankar (26 runs). In reply, RBL
Bank were bowled out for 138 in 19.4 overs, despite contributions
from Vishal Bhayje (30 runs), Rishabh Ladge (26 runs), and Manoj
Chawrasia (22 runs). Narendra Vishwakarma (3 for 23), Pavan T. (2
for 26), and Jitendra Yadav (2 for 36) were the key wicket-takers.

Bank Register Comfortable 8-Wicket Win
Meanwhile,
Yes Bank secured an easy 8-wicket victory over Kotak Mahindra
Bank. After bundling out Kotak for 99 runs in 19.1 overs, with Rugved
Chaudhary (22 runs) being the top scorer, Yes Bank chased down the target
comfortably, scoring 100 for 2 in 16 overs. Shaniya Badeen
remained unbeaten on 41 runs, while Subhash Salian contributed 29
runs. Earlier, bowlers Saurabh Kulwade (2 for 12), Vivek Tatkare
(2 for 15), Mayur Ghag (2 for 17), and Harshal Khedekar (2 for
21) played a crucial role in restricting Kotak Mahindra Bank.
