Maharashtra Open Carrom Challengers Tournament Announces
₹10 Lakh Prize
Mumbai:
The Maharashtra Carrom Association has announced the second edition of the Maharashtra
Open Carrom Challengers Trophy 2024-2025, from December 16 to 18, 2024, which
will be held at the Maharashtra State Bharat Scouts Hall, Shivaji Park, Dadar.
The tournament will be conducted in two categories: Men's Singles and Women's
Singles. A total prize fund of ₹10 lakh will be awarded to the top players,
with the top 32 players in the men's category and the top 16 players in the
women's category receiving cash prizes.
In
the men's category, the winner will receive ₹1.5 lakh in cash, the runner-up
will get ₹1 lakh, and the third-place finisher will be awarded ₹75,000 along
with a trophy. For the women’s category, the winner will be awarded ₹1 lakh,
the runner-up ₹50,000, and the third-place player ₹30,000, along with a trophy.
Additionally,
cash prizes have been announced for players who achieve a White Slam or Black
Slam starting from the first round. The Maharashtra Carrom Association will
also provide uniforms to all participants, and arrangements have been made for
accommodation, tea, and lunch for outstation players.

Interested players are required to register their names with the association by
November 20, 2024. The live broadcast of the tournament matches will also be
