Thane: Glorious Cricket Club defeated Dahisar Sports Club by a massive margin of 139 runs to advance in the 5th Arjun Madhavi Memorial One-Day Women's Cricket Tournament organized by Dr. Rajesh Madhavi Sports Association and Daivajnya Cricket Club. Batting first, Glorious Cricket Club set a strong target of 215 runs, while the opposition was bowled out for just 76 runs in 26.4 overs during the chase.

 

For Glorious, Sadhvi Sanjay and Shraddha Shetty laid the foundation for a big total with impressive half-centuries. Sadhvi scored an aggressive 79 runs off 76 balls, hitting 12 boundaries, while Shraddha contributed 50 runs off 47 balls with 8 fours. For Dahisar Sports Club, Muskan Kanojia took 3 wickets for 64 runs in 8 overs, and Sharanya Fadte picked up 2 wickets.

 

While chasing, Dahisar's batters were completely dominated by Glorious’ bowlers. Vaishnavi Verma and Akshara Pillai were the standout performers, claiming 3 wickets each to dismantle the opposition.
