Mumbai : Imran Khan and Vishal Gehani displayed excellent form to win their fourth round matches in the CCI Snooker Classic 2026, currently being played at the Wilson Jones Billiards Hall of the Cricket Club of India (CCI). Both players produced solid performances to advance further in the tournament.

 

Imran Khan Edges Past Tathya Sachdev in a Close Match

In a closely contested fourth round encounter, Imran Khan fought hard to overcome Tathya Sachdev 4-3 (71-34, 71-35, 9-68, 86-4, 58-64, 38-61, 52-38). Imran started strongly by winning the first two frames, but Sachdev responded well to level the contest. The match eventually went to the deciding frame, where Imran Khan held his nerve to secure the victory.

 

Vishal Gehani Defeats Om Sawant 4-2

In another fourth round match, Vishal Gehani defeated Om Sawant 4-2 (61-24, 62-32, 70-10, 16-57, 24-65, 74-37). Gehani dominated the early frames and maintained control of the match despite a brief comeback from Sawant.

 

Peter Paul Impresses with Big Breaks Against Yash Trivedi

Earlier, in a third round encounter, Peter Paul compiled impressive breaks of 80 in the third frame and 63 in the fourth frame to defeat Yash Trivedi 3-1 (69-20, 38-47, 80(80)-0, 105(63)-15). His strong scoring helped him comfortably secure the victory.

 

Other Notable Results in Round 3

In other third round matches, K. Venkatesh defeated Sufiyan Malkani 3-0 (61-47, 68-27, 66-23). R. Girish overcame Rohit Khatavkar 3-0 (95(54)-24, 77-39, 67-12) with a confident performance. Sumit Saldurkar beat Santosh Abnave 3-1 (78-2, 51-67, 97(67)-15, 65-35).

 

More Players Advance to the Next Stage

Among other winners, Wasim Ahmed defeated Sanjay Sighat 3-1 (53-56, 84(49)-4, 63-9, 73-47). Rohan Kothare beat Gaurav Malhotra 3-1 (22-53, 48-40, 65-16, 78-20), while Zenul Arsiwala overcame Sameer Gupta 3-1 (65-24, 49-63, 55-29, 55-41). Sunil Jain also progressed after defeating Amal Razak 3-1 (65-43, 44-63, 79-26, 78-0).

 

The CCI Snooker Classic 2026 continues to produce competitive matches as players battle for advancement in the tournament.
