Mumbai : Cricket excitement is set to soar in Mumbai as the prestigious RCF T20 Tournament for Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Cup 2026 gets underway from March 30 at the scenic RCF Colony Ground, Chembur. Organized by Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited under the aegis of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), the tournament will witness 16 leading teams competing fiercely in a high-stakes knockout format, promising thrilling encounters and electrifying performances.

 

Tournament Format: Knockout Battles to Decide the Champion

The tournament, exclusively for ‘B Division’ teams, will be conducted strictly as per the rules and guidelines of the MCA. Featuring a direct knockout format, every match becomes crucial as teams battle for survival. The competition will follow the standard model rules laid down for cricket tournaments, ensuring fair play and high-quality cricket throughout the event.

 

Match Schedule: Double-Headers Promise Non-Stop Action

Cricket fans can enjoy double the excitement each day, as two matches will be played daily. The first match will begin at 9.00 AM, followed by the second match at 2.00 PM. The semi-finals are scheduled for April 8, while the much-awaited grand finale will be played on April 10, setting the stage for a spectacular finish.

The champions of the tournament will be awarded the prestigious Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Cup along with a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000, while the runners-up will receive Rs 75,000 and a trophy.
