Vikhroli East, where the HinduhRudaysamrat Shiv Sena Pramukh Balasaheb
Thackeray Sports Arena turned into the centre of high-voltage action. In the
grand finale of the MLA Cup Kabaddi Tournament organized by sports-loving MLA Sunil
Raut, ISPL (Insurekot Sports Pvt. Ltd.) defeated BPCL in a
dramatic five-raid decider by 9-4 (46-41) to clinch the championship
title. Avenging their earlier defeat in Prabhadevi, ISPL settled scores in
style and secured their fourth title of the season.

Thriller: BPCL’s Stunning Comeback from 19-33 Down
The
men’s professional category final turned out to be nothing short of cinematic.
ISPL dominated most of the match and pushed BPCL into a massive 19-33
deficit. Just when defeat looked certain, BPCL staged a remarkable comeback
in the final five minutes and leveled the match at 37-37. The revival
was led by the explosive performance of Milan Dahiya, whose fearless
raids brought BPCL back into the contest.

Set the Tone, Kishor-Vaibhav Strengthen the Grip
Right
from the start, Neeraj Misal and Rakesh Khatkar launched
aggressive raids and gave ISPL a strong 10-3 lead within the first four
minutes. Later, Kishor Jat and Vaibhav Rabade delivered excellent
tackles to stop BPCL’s raiders and helped ISPL tighten their hold with a
commanding 21-13 advantage. With an 8-point lead at halftime,
ISPL looked firmly on course for the title.

Dahiya’s Storm Keeps BPCL Alive
In
the second half, Milan Dahiya almost single-handedly carried BPCL’s
hopes. His quick, accurate and point-scoring raids brought the team back into
the game. In the final five minutes, he kept scoring on every raid and reduced
the gap rapidly. On the other hand, ISPL players became defensive and focused
only on saving time. This cautious approach allowed BPCL to make an unexpected
comeback and force a tie.

Decider: ISPL Completes Revenge Mission
In
the decisive five-raid tie-breaker, ISPL avoided repeating their earlier
mistakes. They executed sharp raids and stopped BPCL’s attacking moves with
strong defence to seal a 9-4 victory. With this win, ISPL lifted the MLA
Cup and completed perfect revenge for their earlier defeat in Prabhadevi.

Triumphs in Women’s Final
In
the women’s category, Shivshakti defeated Rajmata Jijau by 32-30
to win the championship. The match remained closely contested throughout, but
Shivshakti held their nerve in the crucial moments and emerged victorious to
claim the women’s title.
ISPL’s
Fourth Title of the Season
Before
this victory, ISPL had already won the professional tournament of the National
Mill Mazdoor Sangh, the MLA Cup at Tivsa in Amravati, and the MLA
Cup in Washim. Their winning streak was briefly interrupted by BPCL in the
Om Gyandeep Sports Mandal tournament, but this latest triumph proved once again
the strength and consistency of the ISPL side.

Misal Wins Bike as Best Player
For
his outstanding all-round performance in the final, Neeraj Misal was
declared the Best Player of the Tournament. MLA Sunil Raut
honoured him with a premium motorcycle. The winning team ISPL received
the trophy along with a cash prize of ₹2 lakh, while runners-up BPCL
received ₹1.5 lakh. The losing semifinalists were awarded ₹75,000
each.

Raider of the Tournament, while Saiprasad Patil of CGST
