victories in their respective semi-final matches to set up a title clash in the
Senior Men’s billiards category of the Malabar Hill Club Maharashtra State Billiards
& Snooker Championships 2024, played at the Malabar Hill Club billiards

Left-handed Sitwala,
the reigning Indian National billiards champion, overcame an early setback,
dropping the first frame to Vishal Madan, before dominating the rest of the
match with clinical precision. Sitwala showcased his skill with two consecutive
century breaks of 110 (second frame) and 104 (fourth frame) to secure a
convincing 4-1 victory with frame scores of 149-150, 151-28, 151-26, 151-16,
and 150-127. Madan started strong, notching breaks of 68 and 61 in the opening
frame, but couldn’t sustain the momentum.
In a gripping second
semi-final, Rayaan Razmi, fresh from his Senior snooker title win, edged out
the experienced Siddharth Parikh 4-3 in a tense battle. The young Razmi
