Sports - A into Semifinals
Mumbai: In the Mumbai Suburban
District Kabaddi Championship & Trials Tournament, B.A.R.C. secured a
spot in the semifinals in the professional category, while Parle Sports - A to
the semifinals in the western region junior boys category. The tournament,
organized in collaboration with the Sanyojan Sanstha Charkop institution and
supported by Director Namrata Bhosale, is being held at Dadouji Konddev Sports
Ground, Sector-2, Kandivali.
B.A.R.C. Shines in the
Professional Category
The B.A.R.C. team
defeated Shubhashree Enterprises 19-09 to clinch a semifinal berth. Stellar
performances by Sukesh Jagtap and Chirag Rane in both raids and tackles ensured
a smooth victory for the team. They will now face Sai Shraddha Supplementation
in the semifinals.
Parle Sports - A's
Dominating Win in Junior Boys Category
Parle Sports - A
registered an emphatic 38-17 win over Sahyadri Krida Mandal, securing a place
in the semifinals. The team started aggressively, scoring two lons (all-outs)
and leading 25-05 at halftime. They added 13 more points in the second half to
seal their victory. Exceptional performances by Ishant Shinde, Prashant Pawar,
and Abhishek Yadav powered the team to this significant win. Sahyadri's Uttam
Narvekar showed promise in the latter half.
Siddhivinayak - A’s
Triumph in Pre-Quarterfinals
In a pre-quarterfinal
match, Siddhivinayak - A defeated Sangharsh - A with a score of 32-16,
advancing to the quarterfinals. They maintained a commanding 20-10 lead at
halftime and played cautiously in the second half to secure the win.
Outstanding contributions from Om Kudale and Sai Jadhav were key to their
victory, while Sangharsh's Nimish Yadav put up a good fight.
Thrilling Victory for
Jakhmata Mandal
In another intense
match, Jakhmata Mandal edged out Ratnadeep Mandal 19-16. Jakhmata led 13-05 at
halftime but faced a fierce comeback from Ratnadeep in the second half.
Noteworthy performances by Darshan Nakte and Arpit Dhanawade ensured Jakhmata’s
narrow win. Ratnadeep’s Ritesh More and Sushant Mene excelled in the second
half but fell short as time ran out.
