Mafatlal SC Clinch RCF T20 Title in Last-Ball Thriller

 

Mumbai : In a pulsating final that kept spectators on the edge of their seats till the last ball, Mafatlal SC emerged as the champions of the RCF T20 Cricket Tournament 2025 for the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Cup, organized by Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF) Sports Club under the aegis of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).

 

Chasing a formidable target of 204 runs, Mafatlal SC rode on a sensational unbeaten century by Dashrath Chavan, who scored 103 off just 45 balls, laced with seven towering sixes and nine boundaries, to script a stunning three-wicket victory off the final delivery.

 

Even as wickets tumbled at regular intervals, Chavan stood tall with nerves of steel. Saurabh Singh chipped in with a crucial 38, playing a perfect supporting role in the high-pressure chase.

Earlier, DTDC Sports Club, opting to bat first, posted a challenging 203/7 on the back of solid knocks from Gautam Waghela (62 off 36 balls), Omkar Ghule (57 off 30), and Anish Choudhary (38). Mafatlal’s Kartik Mishra (2/31) and Saurabh Singh (2/32) shared the bowling honors.
