Mumbai : The CCI Snooker Classic 2026, currently being played at the Wilson Jones Billiards Hall of the Cricket Club of India (CCI), witnessed some exciting fourth round matches. Amit Sapru, S. Ananth, Aditya Agrawal and Aashit Pandya produced impressive performances to win their respective matches and advance to the fifth round of the tournament.

 

Amit Sapru Registers Comfortable Win

In one of the fourth round matches, Amit Sapru defeated Vivek Shah 4-0 (58-50, 60-26, 64-19, 66-22). Sapru played confidently throughout the match and maintained control in all four frames to secure a convincing victory.

 

S. Ananth Overcomes Sunil Jain

S. Ananth delivered a solid performance to defeat Sunil Jain 4-1 (67-38, 66-38, 24-60, 77-35, 79-61). Ananth dominated most of the frames and displayed steady potting to move ahead in the competition.

 

Aditya Agrawal Wins Thrilling Contest

In one of the most closely contested matches, Aditya Agrawal edged past Mayur Garg 4-3 (21-68, 45-55, 78(55)-0, 72-49, 38-63, 67-60, 68-20). After losing the first two frames, Agrawal staged a strong comeback and eventually sealed the victory in the deciding frame.

 

Aashit Pandya Clinches Hard-Fought Victory

Aashit Pandya defeated Vivek Narayan 4-3 (70-32, 53-66, 67-38, 48-61, 56-48, 64-74, 57-14) in another closely fought encounter. The match went the full distance before Pandya secured the final frame to advance further.

 

Other Players Also Progress

Among other fourth round results, Rohan Kothare defeated Mitesh Thakkar 4-2 (43-58, 57-64, 77-56, 60-10, 65-23, 77-34). Peter Paul beat Ejaz Merchant 4-2 (70-39, 51-61, 7-73, 74-67, 72-47, 60-50), while K. Venkatesh overcame Zenul Arsiwala 4-1 (75-46, 72-61, 53-51, 59-66, 64-24).

 

Convincing Wins for Girish and Saldurkar

In other matches, R. Girish defeated Siddharth Tembe 4-0 (110-17, 61-49, 64-28, 52-51) with an impressive display. Sumit Saldurkar also recorded a 4-0 (71-23, 77-21, 68-48, 75-15) victory against Nilesh Sangar to move into the next stage.
