Mumbai : Punjab’s Digvijay Kadian delivered a brilliant all-round performance to outclass Mumbai’s young talent Shaayan Razmi with a convincing 6-1 victory in the semi-finals of the CCI Snooker Classic 2026, held at the Wilson Jones Billiards Hall. Kadian was in supreme touch and controlled the match throughout, leaving little room for his opponent to recover.

 

Century Breaks Define the Contest

Displaying top-class cueing skills, Digvijay Kadian compiled two शानदार century breaks of 113 and 104 in the final stages of the match. Training under legendary Alok Kumar, Kadian showcased his experience and precision, finishing the contest in style.

 

Early Momentum Gives Kadian the Edge

Kadian began strongly by winning a closely fought opening frame and followed it up with a solid 49 break to claim the second frame and take a 2-0 lead. Shaayan Razmi, known for his attacking play, responded well by crafting a neat 71 break to win the third frame and reduce the deficit.

 

Kadian Extends Lead with Consistent Play

The former Junior National champion Kadian continued his dominance by producing an impressive 83 break to win the fourth frame. He then edged a closely contested fifth frame on the black, increasing his advantage and putting himself firmly in control.

 

Clinical Finish Seals Final Berth

In the closing stages, Digvijay Kadian elevated his game further, firing consecutive century breaks of 113 and 104 to wrap up a comprehensive 6-1 (54-28, 83(49)-2, 0-71(71), 89(89)-0, 73-70(70), 113(113)-0, 104(104)-0) win and secure his place in the final.
