a major development ahead of the upcoming Pro Kabaddi League (PKL)
season, Adani Sportsline has appointed veteran kabaddi strategist Randhir
Singh Sehrawat as the Head Coach of Gujarat Giants. Widely respected
in the kabaddi fraternity and popularly known as the “Chanakya of Kabaddi,”
Randhir Singh Sehrawat brings vast experience and tactical expertise to the
franchise. His appointment is seen as a significant step by Gujarat Giants
as they prepare to build a strong campaign for the new PKL season.

Randhir
Singh Sehrawat is among the most experienced coaches
in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League, having been associated with
the league since its inception in 2014. Over the course of 11 seasons,
teams coached by Sehrawat have consistently performed well, including winning
the PKL title in Season 6 and reaching the playoffs six times.
His deep understanding of the game and strategic approach have earned him the
reputation of being one of the most respected coaches in professional kabaddi.

Arjuna Award recipient, Randhir Singh Sehrawat has contributed
immensely to Indian kabaddi both as a player and as a coach. He has been

represent the country at various levels.

establishing himself as a renowned coach, Randhir Singh Sehrawat had an
impressive playing career at the international level. He represented India
in several major tournaments, including the Asian Kabaddi Championship in
1988, the South Asian Games in 1989, and the 1990 Asian Games,
where he served as the Vice-Captain of the Indian team that won the gold
medal. His experience as an international player has greatly influenced his
coaching philosophy and leadership style.
