Panvel : Panvel witnessed a spectacular display of young cricketing talent
as KARAN CRICKET ACADEMY produced a commanding performance to crush ALL
ROUNDER CRICKET ACADEMY by a massive 9 wickets in the Under-12 HDFC
Cup final. The match turned into a one-sided affair with brilliant all-round
efforts, and the occasion was further elevated by the presence of former India
captain DILIP VENGSARKAR, whose powerful message - “Failure is the first step to success” - inspired the
budding cricketers.

Speaking at the
prize distribution ceremony, DILIP VENGSARKAR praised the rich
cricketing talent in the Panvel region. He emphasized that the area is full of
potential and needs proper identification and structured development. His
motivating words injected fresh energy and confidence among the young players present at the venue.

STRUGGLE : AYUSH JADHAV’S LONE FIGHT STANDS OUT
Batting first, ALL
ROUNDER CRICKET ACADEMY were bundled out for 76 runs in 20.1 overs.
Amidst the collapse, AYUSH JADHAV (43) played a fighting knock and
stitched a crucial 33-run partnership for the 7th wicket with ABHAY
KANNUJIA (10). However, the disciplined bowling attack led by ADARSH
JAISWAL (2 wickets for 2 runs), RAJVEER PATIL (2 for 20), SHLOK
KAVADE (2 for 17) and LEELA SANGHVI (2 for 9) proved too strong,
dismantling the opposition lineup effectively.
CLINICAL CHASE :
PIYUSH DANDE AND LEELA SANGHVI SEAL THE DEAL
Chasing a modest
target of 76 runs, RISHABH BISWAS (10) and PIYUSH DANDE
(unbeaten 41) provided a steady start with a 25-run opening stand.
Later, PIYUSH DANDE along with LEELA SANGHVI (unbeaten 18)
stitched an unbeaten 53-run partnership for the 2nd wicket, guiding
their team comfortably to 78 for 1 in just 16.2 overs, sealing a
convincing victory.
INDIVIDUAL HONOURS
: ADARSH DOMINATES, RISHABH IMPRESSES
For his outstanding all-round brilliance, ADARSH JAISWAL was adjudged
both Best Player and Best Bowler of the Tournament. RISHABH
BISWAS earned the Best Batsman award, while MANASWA NANDOSKAR
was recognised as the Best Fielder, highlighting his sharp presence on
the field.
