Boxing U-15 & U-17 Championships 2026 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, as nine
Indian boxers stormed into the finals with commanding victories across
weight categories. The Indian contingent once again showcased remarkable
talent, aggression, and composure on the continental stage.
Akshita
Opens India’s Winning Charge; Powerful RSC Victory in 30–33kg Category
In
the 30–33kg category, Akshita produced a dominant display and
secured victory by RSC in Round 2 against Ayazhan Marat of
Kazakhstan, giving India a strong start in the semifinals.
Mixed
Result in Early Bouts; Jiya Falls in Close Contest, Anzee and Soniya Shine
In
the 35kg category, Jiya fought hard but went down 1:4 by split
decision against Malika Moldogazieva of Kyrgyzstan. However, Anzee
(37kg) continued India’s strong momentum with a convincing 5:0 victory
over Uzbekistan’s Sarvinoz Riskulova, while Soniya (40kg) also
dominated her bout with a brilliant 5:0 win against Kazakhstan’s Diana
Mendigarayeva.
Tanvi
and Hanshika Continue Dominance; RSC Wins Add to India’s Medal Charge
In the 43kg category, Tanvi secured a commanding victory by RSC in Round 2 against Sezim Nurlubek of Kazakhstan. Hanshika Attri (46kg) followed with another outstanding performance, sealing an RSC victory in Round 1 over Korea’s Yuhui Cheon.
Khushi
and Knishka Face Tough Opponents; Indian Pair Exit After Defeats
In
the 49kg category, Khushi Rana suffered a 0:5 defeat
against Uzbekistan’s Zebiniso Abdullayeva. Similarly, Knishka (52kg)
went down 0:5 against Samal Tolepbergen of Kazakhstan.
Sunaina
and Bhumika Deliver Strong Wins; Dominant Performances Secure Final Spots
Sunaina
(58kg) impressed with a powerful RSC victory in Round 1
against Ardak Abdikhan of Kazakhstan. In the 61kg category, Bhumika
also advanced to the final after securing an RSC win in Round 2 over Chiao-Ying
Chang of Chinese Taipei.
Tannvi Battles Hard for Final Berth; Determined 4:1 Win Against Kazakhstan Opponent
In
the 64kg category, Tannvi displayed excellent determination and
boxing skills to register a hard-fought 4:1 victory over Yasmin
Jautkhanova of Kazakhstan, confirming her place in the final.
Tough
Results in Higher Weight Categories; Aashvi and Manvi Bow Out in Semifinals
In
the heavier divisions, Aashvi (67kg) lost by RSC in Round 2
against Nurgul Sakhi of Kazakhstan, while Manvi (70+kg) suffered
a 0:5 defeat against Uzbekistan’s Zahro Daniyorova.
