Mumbai : In a completely one-sided Women’s Seniors second round match of the St. Peter’s Cup Hockey Tournament 2026, Sports Authority of India (Blue) displayed sheer dominance to crush a young and inexperienced Duruelo SC by a massive 14-0 margin at the St. Stanislaus High School ground in Mumbai. The SAI side controlled the game from start to finish, showcasing superior skill, coordination and attacking flair.

 

Bahamani Munda Leads Scoring Blitz

The star of the match was Bahamani Munda, who netted an impressive 4 goals, while P. Madhu Rima contributed 3 goals and Saloni S. added 2 goals. The remaining goals came from Fulmani Hemron, Gagana M.S., Prachi Panchore, Jasmine Gill, and Priyanka Tirkey, completing a comprehensive team performance and a memorable victory for SAI (Blue).

 

CTC Hockey Club Shine in Men’s Section

In the Men’s Seniors category, CTC Hockey Club delivered an equally commanding performance, blanking Warriors SC 5-0. Pawan Ray starred with a brace, while Aditya Walmiki, Gavin Rao, and Mikhail Miranda chipped in with one goal each to seal a convincing win.

 

Other Matches End in Competitive Draws

Other Men’s Seniors matches witnessed closely fought encounters. Hockey Navi Mumbai played out a 1-1 draw with India Rush, with Nitin Kumar and Salman Khan scoring for their respective teams. Similarly, Hockey Mira Road and Savio Hockey also shared honours in a 1-1 draw, with goals from Nitesh Kamble and Bhavik Chandane respectively.
